Terms of Service
Effective October 30, 2026
These terms govern your use of Matrix AntiCheat (“Matrix”), including the plugin, this website and the customer panel (together, the “Service”), provided by Matrix (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or buying a plan, you agree to these terms.
Accounts and organizations
You sign in with Discord or GitHub. Plans and licenses belong to an organization; its owners and admins can buy plans, manage licenses and invite members. You are responsible for activity in your account and in organizations you manage.
Licenses
While a plan is active, we grant your organization a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to run Matrix on as many public IP addresses as the plan allows. Every Minecraft server behind the same public IP counts as one. You may not:
- Share, resell, sublicense or redistribute the plugin or your license key.
- Run Matrix on more public IP addresses than your plan allows.
- Decompile, modify or work around the licensing, except where the law allows it regardless of these terms.
Plans and payments
Payments are processed by Creem, which acts as the merchant of record. Prices are shown at checkout, and taxes may apply depending on where you are.
- One-time plans are paid once and don't expire unless stated otherwise.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until canceled. You can cancel at any time from the Billing page; the plan stays active until the end of the current period.
- The Cloud add-on requires an active Premium or Enterprise plan.
Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
Cloud analysis
When cloud analysis is enabled, the plugin sends gameplay data about players on your server to us for analysis, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for informing your players and having a lawful basis for this where the law requires it.
Suspension and termination
We may temporarily disable or revoke a license if you exceed your IP limit, share your license, file a chargeback, abuse the Service or otherwise breach these terms. If your license is disabled for exceeding the limit, contact us and we'll help restore it. You can stop using the Service at any time.
No guarantees
No anticheat catches every cheat, and any check can produce false positives. You decide what action to take against players, and you are responsible for it. We release updates for supported Minecraft versions but can't promise support for every version or uninterrupted availability of cloud analysis. The Service is provided “as is”, to the extent the law allows.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms. We'll announce significant changes on our Discord or by email, and the effective date above will change. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of China.
